What is Software Testing?
Software testing is a process of identifying gaps between the developed system and requirement of the system. It involves development of test scenarios , test cases , logging defects and other. Software Tester is responsible for overall quality assurance of the Software.
Software testing falls into two categories: Manual testing and Automation testing. Manual testing involves interacting with the system whereas automating testing does not require human participation.
Software testing (QA) is a highly paid & demanding career which is also very good for beginners as its easy to understand and with little practice anyone from Non-IT background can also learn this.

SOAP UI
Now next 2 weeks you will focus on the SOAP UI Web services automation testing using SOAP UI tool and learn about WSDL & SOAP protocol too.
Week 2
Testing documents & SQL
Second week is more towards understanding of testing process which includes Test Plan,Test Strategy and you will learn CRUD operations of SQL.
Week 4
JIRA , QA and Defect reporting
This week we will cover project management tool JIRA and QC to manage testing artifacts (Test Cases , Scenarios, Defects, Project Planning).
Week 6
Core Java
This week is java week as its core of selenium, we will cover core java topics like Class,Object, OOPs Concept,Collections,Exception and others.
Week 8
Git and TestNg framework
This time you will learn Git VCS and testing framework TestNg so that you can organize and manage your automation tests.
Week 11
API introduction & Postman
During this week you will learn about various type of APIs & learn Postman tool for Manual Testing of the Rest Apis
Week 14-15
Rest Assured
Now next 2 weeks you will focus on learning Rest API Automation testing using Rest Assured java API with help of GSON
